In 1978, Joan and Allen Hogge needed hospice support for their son, Marcus. Because of that need, a grassroots effort of dedicated volunteers formed Edmarc. Edmarc has been serving kids and families in the Hampton Roads area for over 40 years. From the North Carolina border up to and including the Peninsula, Edmarc nurses, social workers, and volunteers have provided holistic, in-home care, alleviating hospital visits and providing unique comfort.
And now, we plan to serve even more families.

Edmarc has an opportunity to expand its service area to Williamsburg, Gloucester, Mathews, and the surrounding counties and reach 100 more children and families who are in critical need of our services. Because our team provides physician-directed care in the comfort of families’ homes 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it is essential to have an office and staffing located within the expansion region.

We need your help.
If you have property within the cities of Williamsburg, Gloucester, or Mathews or within the counties of Charles City, James City, or New Kent, and would like to donate or lease freely to Edmarc as a philanthropic opportunity, please contact:
