What Happened at Edmarc in June

What a month June was for Edmarc!  Jammed packed with fundraisers, speaking engagements, and family special events.

It all started on June 4th, when the Rotary Club of Oyster Point hosted and sponsored Edmarc’s Annual Picnic. Not only did they provide an amazing barbeque lunch; they also gave each of our families one day passes to the Virginia Living Museum!  Special thanks to Joe the Clown and Skippy’s SnoBalls for donating their time and services.  Our families had an AMAZING time!

Special thanks to Restore Church and the Rotary Club of Smithfield for inviting us to speak to your members.  We appreciate the opportunity to share the mission of Edmarc.

This month three groups held golf tournaments to benefit the good work of Edmarc!!  Special thanks to our friends of the Miller Oil Foundation, the Naval Civilian Managers Association, and LPI Technical Services for putting on first class tournaments.  We were honored to be a part of such great groups!

It is not too late to join in on the fun at our 21st Annual Edmarc Charity Golf Classic scheduled for Thursday, August 17th at Cypress Creek Golfer’s Club in Smithfield.  For more information please contact Kristen at jonesk@edmarc.org.

The 5th Annual Hope Gala is going to be held on November 4th at the Granby Theatre.  This year’s honorees are ToweBank and the TowneBank Foundation.  The masquerade ball is going to be a night to remember.  To get your tickets today or for more information please contact Kristen at jonesk@edmarc.org.

The on June 10th, the Noblemen held an Edmarc family event at the local YMCA.  We continue to be amazed with the outpour of support we receive from the Noblemen and Noblewomen of Virginia Beach!
